Farewell Breakfast

On the wedding day, bus transportation will depart from The Westin Hotel at 2:15 PM for Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Guests may begin boarding at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests be seated in the church by 2:45 PM. Following the ceremony, buses will depart for Washington Golf and Country Club. At the end of the evening, buses will be available for guests to take back to The Westin Hotel for the After Party!

Our Wedding

It was the summer of 2019 and Victoria was fresh out of college and just starting her new job at Freddie Mac. Her first few weeks were full of upheaval and transition as her division was going through some reorganization, so, she moved teams, a lot. She was feeling very lost and overwhelmed with all of the change and uncertainty. About a month into the job, she found out she was moving teams, yet again. She had a good cry in the bathroom, dried her eyes, and made her way over to meet the new team. There, as she was walking around trying to memorize all the names and faces of people who she hoped would become more permanent colleagues, she was introduced to a red headed young man named Iain. Meanwhile, Iain was busy living the bachelor life, living solo and enjoying life. Enter Victoria... Shortly after joining, Victoria and Iain began working closely together. ----- The two began to get closer through late nights in the office, team lunches, and happy hours. And then, right when the two began to wonder if there was something more there, the global pandemic of 2020 hit. Everyone was sent home with an indefinite timeline and there was no way of knowing when a return to office would happen. About a month into the pandemic, Victoria moved into her first apartment in Arlington. And, as luck (or fate) would have it, a certain somebody happened to live a block away. After a few more months of cautious flirting, Iain very skillfully convinced Victoria to come over and pick up some "work books" for a class she was taking, and the rest is history.
